The most notable of Assumptions rankings for 2017 include:

According to the website, Niche has the most comprehensive data available on U.S. schools and neighborhoods and are constantly updating and connecting millions of data points to produce new rankings and insights. Niche uses the “most up-to-date data available from dozens of public data sources including the Department of Education, U.S. Census” and has “gathered over 100 million reviews and survey responses from students, parents, and residents” to help users better understand what a school or neighborhood is really like.
