Assumption College Ranked Among Top 10 Best Online Colleges in Massachusetts for 2017
The prestige and quality of Assumption’s online program has landed the College among the best online programs in the state of Massachusetts, according to recently released rankings published by BestColleges.com. The 2017 rankings were established as a result of a new partnership between U.S. News & World Report, “the global authority in education rankings,” and HigherEducation.com, an expert in online programs across the country. Through careful research and the data collected from two surveys conducted in October 2016 that produced over 1,750 responses, BestColleges.com identified the demographic of individuals pursuing online programs and measured the best options available out of all colleges and universities in Massachusetts.
BestColleges.com ranks colleges and universities based on “academic quality, affordability, and online competency” as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics. Assumption made its debut in the Best Online Colleges rankings this year, coming in at number 10. Such a strong showing is a testament to Assumption’s innovative and quality liberal arts education both in the physical and virtual classrooms.
The College boasts reputable online degrees in business, social sciences, humanities, and human services and rehabilitation studies as well as various certificate programs such as digital marketing, and medical coding and billing through its College of Continuing Education program. Assumption also offers the convenience of direct transfer agreements with surrounding community colleges so that students may earn transferrable course credit regardless of the online programs they have chosen.
